source...one responsibility. American Aluminum Casting Co. was founded in
1921 as an aluminum sand foundry under Herman Hartl. Since then, American
Aluminum Casting Co. has included in its scope of manufacturing the permanent
mold process for aluminum and both aluminum and zinc based die casting
operations. During the WWI and WWII, the Hartl family
provided critically needed quality aluminum castings for our military that
contributed to our victory over the Axis powers. Still under the guidance
of the third generation of the Hartl family, American Aluminum continues to
provide high quality castings to the military, aerospace, automotive, railroad,
medical, marine, lighting, pump, valve, sporting goods, construction,
telecommunications and manufacturing industries. In order to accomplish
the necessary quality and reliability, American Aluminum has operated under a
Quality System that was primarily based on Military Standards System.
